Functionality-wise, I think they are very similar to the classic acrylic knit caps from that famous everyday workwear company. Comfortable and suitable for very cold temps. If there's a difference, it's that these are somewhat smaller. A downside here is that I'm finding they eventually ride up my ears a little bit, reducing warmth retention (I would describe my head as slightly smaller than average, for reference). Otherwise, these would be 5 stars, no problem."
