"I have taken this travel bag roller to many states. It’s still in great shape. It’s fits perfectly into the carry on cabinets of planes. All the zippers work well, no tears in fabric and the wheels are awesooome. This is the only carry on suitcase that I’ve had where the wheels are still going strong! Thanks TOPO! I will continue to use this for many more years."

Great purchase
"My old Travelpro carry on finally died on me and I jumped at the chance and upgraded to the global travel roller. It has a really thoughtful design and naturally compliments my current travel kit consisting of a sessions pack, a rover classic and a global travel duffel (Also have a mountain duffle, bike bags, a variety of accessory bags and still growing;). Love the PackFast system too. I’m patiently waiting now for the matching woodland/elmwood global briefcase set to be delivered this. week. Time to book a flight ✈️"

Surprisingly Roomy
"I just finished packing it for a two month + long trip and was surprised at how much I easily fit into the bag. More than my 4 wheeled hard sided bag that I have used in the past but which is useless over cobblestones. Paired it with the matching backpack for the perfect duo for this length trip. Others have complained about tipping but so far it seems fine even with the backpack on top."

10/10 bag for a week
"Bought this bag for a week long trip across the country. I ended up overpacking with room to spare. I didn't test the backpack straps, but the wheels were excellent and I loved having the front pocket for items I wanted to be able to quickly grab."

Pretty good
"This little bag is a pretty reliable traveling companion. It is decently capacious and has some interesting and useful internal organization. The hardware (wheels, handle, etc. ) is high-quality and hasn't let me down. Unfortunately after a few years of use, I have some critiques: 1. When full and standing on end, the bag has a tendency to tip forward and clatter to the ground. 2. The backpack straps are laughably awkward and uncomfortable. I used them once and then never again. This is a shame, because I was particularly excited about this function for traversing cobblestone streets, etc. 3. The plastic shell can break (it happened to me) and is not repairable. Topo generously replaced my suitcase, which I very much appreciate, but I nevertheless find this to be poor product life-cycle design. In the 2020s, every part of a suitcase ought to be repairable. Otherwise a good little bag!"

Versatile and durable
"Bought this bag after carrying my previous luggage due to cobblestones. Love having the option for the backpack straps and two wheel system. This has become my one and done solution to any traveling. Between work trips to the city, hunting and fishing trips or a European vacation, this bag is with me for it all."

Great Quality, Functionality, and Warranty
"This carry-on has been a great companion on my trips. The build quality is excellent, and it's held up well over the years. After a few years of use, I noticed that the bottom bracket on my bag had broken. I contacted Topo Designs' customer service, and they took care of the issue immediately. Their warranty support was excellent and gave me even more confidence in the product. I haven't needed to use the removable shoulder straps yet, but it's reassuring to know they're there when I need them. That extra versatility means I can confidently travel almost anywhere in the world from mountain towns to the cobblestone streets of old European cities without worrying about whether my luggage can handle the terrain. Highly recommended!"

Not as good as the original
"My original global traveler bag was so great, this one... sadly, not as great. My previous bag recently got damaged after almost 5 years and 1000's of miles, which if you own a roller bag and travel a lot, you know, is pretty good. (The wheels are the key to the quality here, durable AF. ) While I was hesitant to replace it, I could not resist the opportunity to take advantage of the sale so I bought this one. While it is still a nice bag, it definitely lacks the things that made the previous version extra great. It is missing the front compartment between the yellow material and the front material, which was an amazing feature for my travel yoga mat and other reusable tote bags. The inside flap that covers the larger side of the bag also now only has one compartment when the previous version had two. So while still a nice bag, definitely not 5 stars like the previous model."

Better wheels would make this bag perfect
"I didn't think about the type of wheels on this bag when I purchased it, but was later disappointed to discover they did not operate in all directions. The bag must be tipped to roll. It can not be rolled while upright. Not sure I would have made the purchase if I had realized this."

Carry On
"I loved the idea of this bag for my trip to Europe. It was one of the larger size carry-ons I could find. The size along with the beefy wheels and the option to wear it as a backpack had me sold. I’m in Slovenia now and headed to Italy where I know I’ll be climbing stairs to my air bnb and will be happy for the backpack straps. I was able to squeeze three weeks of gear inside including mountain bike clothes and beach outfits. Side note - I had to check my carry-on at the gate because the plane was too full. I was nervous that the bag would get beat up, but it didn’t! It’s very durable. I have other Topo Design gear that I’ve been using for years and it has held up as though it’s still brand new. Loving this brand and my new carry-on."
