Great purchase!
"I got my backpack in August and I have been using it for almost three weeks! It’s incredible! It fits a lot more than it initially looks like it would. As a student, I often have to pack textbooks, lunches, water bottle, coffee, computer, chargers, etc. I never have trouble getting all my stuff in the bag."

Great classic
"Slim and tall profile which is good, but may have some issues with accessing your stuff since it’s top loading. Love that it has side water bottle pockets and a quick stash pocket up top. Front bottom pocket is a little tight, so can’t really put bulky items. 4 Compression straps may be overkill for an already slim bag, but you can use it to secure things on with carabiners from the side pockets or to pack your bag flat for travel."

Quality Exceeded expectation
"This is a high quality bag. The material and craftsmanship exceeded my expectation. I love the top pocket, it is so convenient. I use this bag as a day bag with a generic camera cube in the main pocket and stuff i don't want to keep in my pockets stored in the top pocket for easy access. Works flawlessly. When i carry my tripod i store it in the bottle pocket no problem."

TD's Signature Pack for a Reason
"You will see this pack being worn by people in inner cities and national parks. Double sets of compression straps, two different weights of outer fabrics (lighter on top/heavier on bottom), all sorts of colors, full linings, and secure drawstring closures = perhaps the optimum in a small day pack. You can stuff gear for the office, rainwear, and a laptop into the Rover. It continues to be the industry standard in top loaders."

Almost perfect, but definitely my new daily driver
"I adore the look of this backpack, and combined with the seemingly pretty good quality materials I can see a lot of use out of this backpack for a very long time. Most reviews I found talked about the double closure of the drawstring and buckles being a little annoying to get into in a rush, but unless you’re in the rain or always want a pristine look, only closing one of the options is perfectly suitable, and I’ve spent most of my time with it not bothering with the drawstring and just rolling the top down and securing it with the buckles. For me the only real drawback is the depth of the bag. It’s not really that bad, but when I try to pack it out with binders, notebooks, books, stuff like that (for school, mainly) I find that even just a half inch or an inch more space on the inside would really come in handy. But seeing as this can mostly be overcome by packing slightly differently, it won’t stop me using the bag at all, I still love it. In fact, just a few weeks after getting the bag I decided I’d use it as my only bag on a 5 day road trip with a flight back, and the flexible top combined with compression straps on the sides made it perfect for all my stuff, while being able to compress it down to fit as a personal item for the flight, good stuff!"

I will love you
"I have mixed feelings on this backpack; due mostly to my opinions and what I was looking for overall. I really appreciate all the color choices. I wish it had a zipper instead of a string. I wish the front zipper pocket was slightly bigger. Not a huge fan of the floppy pocket on top. I do like the 2 adjustable side pockets. I hate all the jangly straps hanging everywhere lol. I mainly kept it due to the company reputation, and the fact that I knew it would last a very long time, as it it definitely well-made and very durable. The zippers are high-quality, as are the straps and stitching. I actually traveled with it for a few days this past weekend and appreciated and enjoyed it very much, and it has grown on me already as just a general daily-use backpack. It is very lightweight, which is nice. I'm glad I kept it and would overall recommend it. Question: What is the thin strip of velcro inside the top of the main compartment for??"
