Very nice, very comfortable, good upgrade

"I had a small metal piece of the "carabiner" type attachment break off of my global briefcase bag. I love that bag and I thought I'd just replace the strap. I found this one. It is really much more comfortable than the original. The shoulder pad slides which makes the bag a little more wieldy as I move around. The padding is way more comfortable. The strap is a little short. . . if you really like to sling your shoulder bag down low this may not be ideal. But it's definitely worthwhile if you need it. Little TOPO patch branding too."

Strap compatibility with more recent products

"This band is nice and has some nice management (elastic straps) along it spaced out. I will say I have some bags from before 2020 that the straps are not compatible with since the clips are too wide and long for it to latch on to."

Meh

"I thought this strap would allow me to wear my Mountain Cross bag as a cross-body bag, but it's not long enough. I'm a 5'8" gal, for reference. I like padding for my heavy laptop, but the system of clipping the strap into the bag did not work - the hardware was not correct and I ended up seam ripping the hardware off, attaching different hardware, and resewing it all up. The strap is functional and good quality, but I wish it was longer."
