"This jacket is a home run from Topo, a perfect modern take on the classic trucker. Rugged, familiar, ready to wear, but refined with just the right updates. The cut hits a great balance: timeless and structured, without the too-short hemline plaguing many truckers. It fits great over a t shirt, but layers well with a flannel or hoody so it is just as practical for a shoulder season hike as it is hanging downtown for drinks. As always, Topo nails the details. The burly buttons, soft chambray sleeve/pocket lining, comfy corduroy collar, and the blanket-like flannel lining in the body (also found on the Onlooker shirt jacket) give this jacket a premium, almost overbuilt feel. It is clear this jacket will last a long time! The heavyweight flannel lining wears in beautifully over time, as I know from other Topo pieces that I’ve had for ages. That flannel liner alone really sets this jacket apart from many other truckers. The corduroy collar is a nice touch of comfort and character. For me, it is the perfect daily driver. Tough enough for mountain cabin living, stylish enough to wear everywhere else. And my gf says I look hot in it…. what’s not to love?!"
