"Excellent materials but I liked the previous design better. I don’t like that the straps for the backpack can’t be stowed away; You would need to remove them completely. if you do use the backpack straps, the top of the bag is towards your back. I feel this will be more uncomfortable with the other straps rubbing against your back. The original design had the flat bottom against your back if you chose to go with the backpack straps. Also don’t like that the handle straps are so much bigger. Great bag and colors but…. ."

The option for back pack straps and the sturdy construction has made it easy to pack in amongst seats in planes, trains, and automobiles as well as throw on my back for a hike through the City or from stop to stop.
