"I have had my classic daypack and used it everyday for 14 years so I knew this would be a long term investment. Got this for my son who is entering kindergarten and wanted to look like daddy :). The materials are awesome and light but sturdy. It will grow with him and the color way is fun and unique. The cup holders expand and perfectly accommodate his yeti kids bottle. I considered getting one for me to twin out of jealousy but there is no need to upgrade my bag. Topo is the absolute best from a firm and functionality standpoint."

Light, but not light in quality!

"The Light Pack is deceptively sturdy. It has a padded back AND bottom, and more than generously sized zippers. When I wear it, I feel that what I'm carrying is secure. As with so many TD products, it comes in many colors and color combinations, and the colors of the fabrics are vivid. It's a minimalist pack that still provides enough storage for most single-day outings. It's a winner--don't overlook it!"

Great quality after 5 years but a bit small

"I have been using this backpack every day for about 5 years and it’s in incredible shape. That includes a 45 minute bus commute into work as well as occasional overseas travel. It is super sturdy, and all the zippers still work perfectly and it’s hasn’t torn. And I really don’t handle my possessions gently. That being said, it’s just not quite big enough for what I use it for. With my laptop and any books or notebooks I’m carrying with me, it’s nearly impossible to fit my water bottle in it, and the side pockets aren’t big or stretchy enough to fit an upright water bottle anyway. And when I bring lunch to work, I often have to put my lunch container in a separate bag. Long story short, it’s a seriously awesome bag but unless you have a teeny laptop and not much else you need for work, it’s just a bit on the small side. Also, the navy color is great but attracts a lot of pet hair!"

Love this BUT

"Perfect size for smaller frame woman. It’s been to Italy Alaska and cruising. Holds a lot for the size. Lightweight. BUT it has no luggage strap on back to slip over handle of my rolling suitcase. What a bummer. I’m going to replace it and sad to do so."

Not cream colored

"My daughter was very upset that the color was much closer to tan/brown than cream colored. The bag is otherwise well constructed but she won’t use it and it’s final sale."
