"Great jacket at the sale price. I do wish there was a breast pocket as I keep reaching there, I guess I'm just used to having one. They do run big, I got both colors and both are very large which is good if you're going to be layering up, but that also means the arms are a bit longer too. It fits albeit just a little baggy."

Solid Jacket for Wind and Light Rain

"I wanted a windbreaker with some water resistance that would also provide just a bit more warmth than a standard, lightweight nylon windbreaker. The Topo Designs HighPeak Jacket does the job. The material is softer and more flexible than a traditional ripstop nylon jacket and has 4 pockets for plenty of storage. The backvent helps keep the jacket from overheating. Also the zipper may be the smoothest zipper I've ever seen on a jacket."

Good for travel

"The jackets sort in between a windbreaker and shell—it’s not warm warm but good for a regular winter day with a sweatshirt. Runs a bit bigger than other topo jackets I’ve had. Will be great for traveling. The zipper pockets are deep."

Beware: It's Big

"This actually seems like a really nice jacket. Well made, attractive, solid construction, great color combo (beetle), etc. My only real complaint is the sizing. I moved past small's long ago, and even medium's can be a little snug on me, but this thing is BIG. Frankly, it's hard to tell how the actual style is because I swim in this jacket. So buyer beware, as there seems to be a lack of sizing consistency across TD's apparel these days. If you have to try it out, I'd buy a size smaller. It'll be a gamble, though. I'm tempted to try out a small myself, but I can't afford to lose another $95 (with tax and shipping) at the moment. I've had some awesome TD customer service agents bend the rules with size exchanges on final-sale items in the past, but not this time. Alas."
