Looks good, not waterproof

"I bought this jacket for a trip to Ireland and thought it would be good because it’s so packable and I knew there would be occasional rain. The packability was indeed great and it packed easily into a cross body bag for when I needed it. However, this thing is not waterproof. The DWR repels some water for sure but it did not take very long for me to start getting wet underneath around the shoulders and back. Could be a faulty seam but it wasn’t even raining hard. Also disappointed to see that the elastic band is already fraying at the seam. I probably will avoid using it to pack it down now. Anyways, it looks great and stops wind effectively. Not so good for wet conditions though."

It’s mostly great

"I love this jacket. Beware, it has literally no warmth at all. (It is weirdly colder than other windbreakers that I have)! However, this jacket is meant to be used alongside other layers. When you layer it next to a fleece, or layer it next to a puffy jacket it is absolute magic. Just know what you’re after before you buy it."

Buttery soft

"This jacket is the perfect layer for rainy days or just days with a slight chill. Unless other shells like it, it seems to breathe well too. Add layers under it in the winter and you’re ready for anything. Customer service was also awesome. Keep it up topo."

Best Jacket

"This is my second time purchasing this jacket! And I cannot wait to use this new one to its fullest use. My previous global jacket was a perfect top layer to break the wind here in the Midwest and valiantly this jacket served me through many a rainy festival to ensure I stayed dry while working. I don’t know if you haven’t gotten one already, more for me."

Nice jacket - not for wet rainy hiking

"Nice looking jacket fits well. Not great in persistent rain ( afew showers were heavier). Was outdoors in light but persistent rain for two hours it was raining persistently with wind. Got home and jacket was soaked through. Can’t recommend this if you’re wanting a weatherproof rain proof jacket. As it says. It’s weather resistant - it’s no gortex. That said other than this it’s an awesome looking and functional jacket that will keep the showers off. Just don’t go walking when it’s raining constantly"
