"This is a great pack. I would only change one thing. I have a PC laptop that is 16” and while fairly slim, it cannot go in to the external side zippered pocket. This is the first bag I’ve had which had the capacity to hold my laptop in one of those wonderful side pockets but the restriction of the zipper travel wouldn’t let it in! It does fit inside the bag in internal padded laptop pocket but this side access would have made it perfect."
"EXCEPTIONALLY poor website functionality, including AI hallucinated information and repeated insistence about collecting my data. I was extremely interested in this product, but received no consistent answers about whether peeling interiors from wear and tear would be covered, what repair costs were, or how to get live human support. I also clicked the "do not sell my data" tab and it's stuck loading while the site is fully loaded through Safari- convenient, especially while I'm being pushed to provide my contact info by calling or emailing. I wanted to take advantage of a sale that is currently going, as a college student who NEEDS a bag and is stressed about keeping a roof over my head, and I can't without emailing and waiting to hear back. Even posting this review requires my email. As I was going through sections of the site, the Live Support button completely disappeared. A student discount that the AI support said existed fully does NOT exist. It even linked a page that was "eaten. " Horrific experience that could've been a major opportunity for brand loyalty."

I like the external laptop sleeve and extra padding on the back. It provides more structure than the regular rover pack (I also have one). "Rover needs to fix their laptop sleeves in both the Classic and the Tech. a laptop sleeve should have a false bottom and should be adequately padded. None of the accessories make up for this defect. If you want to carry a laptop, don't buy a bag that shows such contempt for its safety."
