Nice quality though bag a little

"These are solid, casual, doing whatever around wherever pants. I feel good pairing them with chacos or sneakers. My only issue with them is that they do loosen/bag a little throughout the day as I continue to wear them. It's an issue I can live with, but I notice it. I did need to size down--usually a S, but XS fits better. I would be intrigued if Topo came out with some patterned versions to add a little funk."

Comfy and quick drying

"I've always had a problem with hiking pants feeling too tight at the waist and leg, but these pants were awesome for a recent backpacking trip that involved lots of rough, rocky terrain. I'm 5' 10", 160 lbs. and chose the L so the waistband would fit nicely. I think the M would have fit me everywhere else, since they are really roomy at the thigh. I may try the slim fit version too for hiking trips that don't involve as much scaling of rocks. Bonus is that, even after spilling a whole bottle of water on my pants, they dried so quickly. Awesome material."

"I went from building a pirate ship outside for my kids to my daughter’s music recital flawlessly! These pants are so comfy and fit my athletic build. I am weight lifter and finding pants that fit around my quads and hips, but also are able to adjust to my waist is amazing. "Super comfy and I love the evergreen color. These definitely feel baggier than a previous iteration of the dirt pants I had, especially after a day or two of wear (washing tightens them up slightly). The waist still fits so I don't think sizing down would help. Great for when you want a relaxed pant for all the activities, but they're not as flattering/dress-up-able."

Where is the gusseted crotch?

"I love my old pairs and was looking to add a few fresh colors to my closet, until I realized the crotch is no longer gusseted. Seriously? These are advertised as being for climbing, biking, hiking, etc. , but now I know they won’t be as comfortable or hold up to those activities. Bring back the quality Topo!"

Exactly what I was hoping for

"I'm so excited about these pants. I recently wore them to a photoshoot where I art directed and was running all over the place. They were just right for being active and on my feet all day, without looking too laid back. I love the little drawstrings at the ankles. I'm 5'2" and about 120 pounds. The size small fits perfectly. "I purchased a pair of Dirt Pants in black and love the fit! They are a little structured around the hips and rear which make for a great silhouette. The contrasting drawstring with the red accents are a nice touch. They are a sturdy pant that allows for lots of movement. Love em."
