Very functional straps

"I bought those straps in bright blue, which makes them very visible. They are light and easy to store. More importantly they help to carry anything that might not fit in your backpack, such as a tripod or a jacket. The nice thing is that, in addition to fitting through lash tabs, if your bag does not have any lash tab then the straps can loop through the daisy chain. All in all this is a very practical accessory with a reasonable price for a pack of two."
