Topo Designs x Stranahan's Collaboration
Share
We teamed up with our favorite local single malt whiskey maker to help celebrate their 200th bottling. Topo Designs supported its Denver neighbor by helping bottle this milestone batch, and also by creating 200 Topo Designs x Stranahan’s Klettersacks. A rich Horween leather base, hits of yellow webbing and a hand numbered inner label make each pack truly one-of-a-kind.
Stranahan's Whiskey was founded by Jess Graber and George Stranahan, whom the whiskey is named after, in Colorado in 2004. In 1998, Graber, a volunteer firefighter, met Stranahan, the founder and owner of Flying Dog Brewery, while fighting a fire at Stranahan's barn. They struck up a conversation about whiskey, and were soon in business together. One of the first craft whiskey distillers in the US, Stranahan's is said to have "kicked off the Colorado distilling craze" with its whiskey and the designation it invented, Rocky Mountain Whiskey. It was Colorado's first micro distillery, and the state's first legal distillery since prohibition.
In celebration of the collaboration and milestone batch the Topo Designs team stepped in to bottle a little whiskey.
