Randy wants you to find a habit and ditch it.
There is a tenet of Stoic philosophy that promotes thinking of obstacles as opportunities that I’ve latched onto lately. So during our WFH upheaval I’ve decided to tear down all the silly habits I’ve developed over the years. I’m a shoe fiend, and every fiend knows you start your day at the bottom. Kicks first. All else follows. New me. Other than when I run, I’ve been barefoot for over 30 days. After a few inadvertent face punches I’ve learned how to brush my teeth lefty. Stopped ending my day with a sigh and a seat on the couch and close it out now with a headstand. Find a habit and ditch it.
