Summer Playlist Roundup

Festivals may be on hold for summer but that doesn’t mean you have to pause your Spotify account. We’ve queued up over 18 hours of tracks, from 5 playlists selected by our friends from Canada’s Operators, Southern California’s Private Island, Scotland’s The Twilight Sad, Brooklyn’s Beach Fossils and Missouri’s Dreamgirl. That’s a mouthful, now get ready for an earful. Enjoy.

Operators x Topo Designs

We’re amazed Dan Boeckner found time to put together this eclectic mix for us, considering the projects he’s involved in: Wolf Parade, Divine Fits, Handsome Furs and of course, Operators.

Private Island x Topo Designs

SoCal’s Private Island digs deep with 3 hours of cuts ranging from BRONCHO to Parliament. We’re loving this to the very end.

The Twilight Sad x Topo Designs

The Scottish post-punk outfit’s list for us spans everything from Dylan to Deacon to Deftones.

Beach Fossils x Topo Designs

Brooklyn’s lo-fi indie-pop Beach Fossils lean into some early influences such as The Damned, James Taylor & Issac Hayes, amongst others. Interested yet?

Dreamgirl x Topo Designs

Kansas City’s all 4 members of Dreamgirl contributed 30+ tracks each to make this our longest, and one of our most enjoyable playlists to date. Set aside a weekend for this one and hit repeat.
